Sorry for the inconvenience. I am now 2 weeks behind after being 8. Monday October 12th I will start taking shoes in again. Since the closure of Homewood Shoe Hospital, shoes are coming in more than twice the speed that I can fix them. The reason I have to stop the incoming shoes is because when I get backed up 8 weeks or more, customers get impatient and upset. All of my repair time gets wasted answering the phone and walking to the counter apologizing. The customers that don't get upset, just won't come back to pick them up and pay for them. Everything spirals out of control. So from now on, when I hit the 6 week mark, I will just stop taking in repairs until I'm caught up again.
I do not fix purses, luggage, or other random items
Current turn around time is about 6 weeks.
